A site everyone can use
This page says what accessibility standard we build our own site to, what we have done so far, what we know still needs work, and how to tell us when something gets in your way.

Our goal
We want everyone to be able to use atomicfinch.com, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, magnification, or their device’s accessibility settings.
The standard we work to is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We have not finished getting there, and this page is honest about where we fall short.
What we have done
- Pages are built from standard links, buttons, headings and form fields, so they work with a keyboard and with screen readers, and every page declares its language.
- Every form field has a visible label tied to it, including the group of choices on the contact form.
- Headings follow a proper order, so a screen reader’s list of headings matches the page.
- Images that carry meaning have a text description; decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
- Pages work on a phone and when zoomed in, without scrolling sideways. We check every page at desktop and phone widths, down to a 360 pixel wide screen, before a change goes out.
- When your device asks for reduced motion, our animations stop.
- Text and buttons, our orange ones included, meet the level AA contrast ratio against their background.
What we know is not right yet
- Booking a call opens Calendly’s own site in a new tab, so how well booking works with assistive technology is up to them. If it gives you trouble, call or email us and we will book the time for you.
- The example sites in our showcase are separate websites. We hold the sites we build to the same goal, but a finished example may not reflect every fix made here.
Tell us about a problem
If something on this site is hard to use, or you need information from it in another way, tell us. Email hello@atomicfinch.com or call (720) 457-4650. It helps to know the page, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you use, but send what you have.
A person will reply within 5 business days, and sooner if we can. If the problem blocks something you need now, such as getting in touch with us, we will help you do it another way while we fix it.
Changes to this page
We update this page when we fix something on the list above or find something new, and the date at the top says when. This statement covers this site, run by Atomic Finch LLC, a Colorado limited liability company.
